Invitation to Local Stakeholder Consultation

GrowGrounds ApS invites all relevant stakeholders to participate in a Grouped Local Stakeholder Consultation (LSC) for the project:
“Transforming Coffee Production Systems with Agroforestry to Store Carbon, Regenerate Ecosystems, and Improve Farmer Livelihoods in Mantiqueira de Minas, Brazil.”
The project is implemented under the Global Syntropic Agroforestry Program (GS 13053) and will be certified under the Gold Standard for the Global Goals framework.
Project Objective
The initiative supports coffee farmers in transitioning from full-sun monoculture coffee production systems to diversified syntropic agroforestry systems. Through this transition, the project promotes:
- Carbon sequestration and the generation of Gold Standard certified carbon credits
- Improvement of soil health and water regulation<
- Strengthening of biodiversity and ecological connectivity
- Increased climate resilience and enhanced farmer livelihoods
Who Should Participate
We welcome participation from:
- Coffee farmers and cooperatives
- Civil society organizations
- Women’s groups
- Research institutions
- Public authorities
- Members of the local communit
